The starting rate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
SummaryOperates production equipment and makes necessary adjustments to produce a Quality Product in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions- Shift: 7:45pm - 8:00am
- Conduct rigorous Quality Control Testing to ensure the precision and excellence of each product.
- Operate extruders and annealers to craft PET sheets that are slit into coils.
- Set up and operate PET lines to manufacture a diverse range of products according to scheduled orders.
- Uphold material specifications and maintain the operational integrity of material systems.
- Calibrate mixing bins to exacting standards for daily production runs.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure consistent equipment functionality.
- Manage regrind processes by chopping and repurposing materials.
- Develop familiarity with machinery including dies, screen changers, mills, and bridles; gain crane operation expertise.
- Make precise and timely adjustments to equipment to optimize production outcomes.
- Safely operate fork trucks to load raw materials, following strict safety protocols.
- Use hand tools to facilitate changeovers and minimize downtime.
- Adapt in a dynamic environment and take on additional duties to support the company’s objectives.
Education: High school diploma
Experience:
- Operate a forklift
- Adjust manufacturing equipment
