• Machine products to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts to determine machining operation to be performed
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
• Adjust and set up machine tools for use by machining tool operators
• Participate in the cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements
• Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
• Compute and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy
• Observe all applicable safety practices
• Carry out other duties as assigned
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• 3 to 5 years experience as a CNC VTL Machinist
• Previous or current knowledge and experience with manual machine tools operations
• Experience with operating lathes or mills and using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers)
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings
• Proficiency in precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Preferred CNC l Machinist Certification
• VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) CNC experience
• High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision
