Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Mechanical Conveyor Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor and material‑handling systems in industrial and food‑processing environments. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision alignment skills, and the ability to work safely in fast‑paced production settings.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with mechanical conveyor systems, structural installation, and field service work, and understands the importance of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Install, assemble, and align conveyor systems including belt, roller, chain, and screw conveyors.
- Perform mechanical installation of drives, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and pulleys.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layout plans.
- Perform precision alignment of shafts, sprockets, couplings, and drive systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Replace components such as bearings, belts, chains, and wear parts.
- Work with rigging equipment to safely move and position machinery.
- Support system start‑up, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and site policies.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or Mechanical Conveyor Installer.
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and material‑handling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience with mechanical alignment, rigging, and equipment installation.
- Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
- Experience in food processing or sanitary environments.
- Welding and fabrication experience (TIG preferred).
- Familiarity with stainless steel equipment installation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to travel for field installations (if applicable).
- Mechanical troubleshooting.

This position involves work in industrial facilities, construction sites, and production plants. The role requires physical labor including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working in varying environmental conditions.
