Material Handler

Off at NOON every FRIDAY!

Hours: M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour

To serve as a materials resource in all phases of the Parts Prep area.

• Check released and planned list in SAP for prep instructions.
• Prep components to customer specifications utilizing various equipment & methods as defined in the prep instructions.
• Count all parts for jobs being released.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Takes responsibility for the quality of one’s individual work.
• Demonstrates accuracy and neatness in their work.
• Co-operative and dependable, highly motivated, and trustworthy.
• Respects and works effectively with fellow team members.
• Will notify Team leader if team is not following Quality processes.
• Will present new ideas and improvements to Team Leader.

Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching. High School Diploma or GED

Two years' experience in a material handling position. Spectra-Tech Will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience.

Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, and lifting of materials.

Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.
