Machine Operator II

Pay: $21.50 per hour
Shift: 12-hour shifts

As a Machine Operator II, you will take the lead in operating and maintaining multiple moderately complex manufacturing machines. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, high-quality products, and a safe, efficient work environment. You will be the go-to expert on your production line, managing everything from setup to quality checks with confidence and care.

• Operate multiple manufacturing machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
• Set up and pre-run equipment at the start of each shift to guarantee proper startup and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and control production variables, including line speeds, batch formulas, and output rates.
• Start and stop equipment as needed, maintaining a strong focus on safety, product quality, and consistency.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet production standards.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation, including downtime records, HACCP logs, and other compliance paperwork, using systems such as SAP and following established SOPs.
• Follow company policies and safety protocols, contributing to a safe and respectful workplace.
• Act as a role model for professional conduct and support team alignment with the company’s mission, values, and code of ethics.
• When applicable, guide or support team members in their responsibilities and performance.

• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficient in operating multiple machines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, meeting production specifications with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and reasoning skills to share and relay information effectively across all levels of the organization.
