Overview
Material Handler position based on-site at our warehouse in Florence, KY.
Work schedule:
1st shift.
- Transport raw, in-process and finished goods as required by production schedule.
- Ship and receive materials to meet production goals and requirements.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing product and material movements.
- Process daily and weekly cycle counts; compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Perform monthly physical inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse, shipping and receiving areas and equipment; observe and follow safety procedures.
- Observe and follow GMP, SOP, HACCP, and FQP; maintain clean work area in compliance with SQF.
- Participate in all necessary training required to perform job responsibilities; other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum one year of forklift operation experience required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds or move up to 2500 pounds; ability to use hands, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear as part of the job.
