Material Handler

Position Summary

100% based on-site at our warehouse in Florence, KY.

Work schedule:

1st shift.

Greendale is one of Catalent’s gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers.

Material Handler transports raw, in process and finished goods as required by production schedule. Ships and receives materials necessary to meet production goals and requirements.
Material Handler also verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing product & material movements, accurately. Process daily, weekly cycle counts.

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items related to material processing to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Performs monthly physical inventory.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse, shipping and receiving area and all equipment and supplies found therein.
• Observes and follows safety procedures.
• Observes and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP).
• Take responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production.
• Maintains clean work area in compliance with SQF.
• Ensures all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed.
• Participates in all necessary training required to successfully perform job responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma/GED Required.
• Minimum one year of experience with forklift operation required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds or up to 2500 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and taste or smell.
