R&R Tool, Inc. is continuing to grow and we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to join our team. 1 st Shift – 6:00am–4:30pm M–Th
Summary: Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Manufacturing Engineers create and maintain documentation for manufacturing and product specifications.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Provide engineering support for day-to-day operations for production areas.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Must be able to read and follow complex instructions.
- Recommend and suggest improvements to facilitate production.
- Perform any other task as deemed necessary by management to propel the business functions of the company.
Education and Experience: Individuals must have a 2 or 4 year degree in Engineering and proven work experience in process engineering. Additionally, the position requires excellent technical skills, knowledge of process related standards and a work history that includes product/process design projects managed to successful implementation. The Manufacturing Engineer will have worked in manufacturing/engineering for 5 or more years. Operated CNC Machinery and performed inspection(s).
Preferred experience with programming Fanuc controller with inspection. Experience with NX and programming experience preferred.
