Molding Process Technician – Clarios – Florence, KY

As the shift’s primary technical expert, you will troubleshoot, improve injection‑molding processes, and support production goals.

• Develop and improve the consistency of injection molding machines and processes.
• Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meet production goals.
• Evaluate causes of process variation and identify probable causes; interact with process engineering and production supervision as necessary to confirm causes and identify appropriate corrective actions to resolve unacceptable quality conditions.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes, as appropriate, to improve cycle times.
• Troubleshoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.
• Ensure job start‑ups run correctly, making any necessary adjustments.
• Train, coach, and monitor machine operators to ensure they are following procedures and minimizing scrap and downtime.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in all areas of daily operations of the department and substitute for the Manufacturing Supervisor in his/her absence.

• Minimum 2 years of injection molding experience is required.

• Minimum 2‑year technical degree (preferred will substitute education for experience).
