Material Handler - Spares
Location: USA – Florence, 2505 Ted Bushelman Blvd.
Division: Solutions
Shift schedule:
1A - 5:00 am to 5:30 pm (Sun/Mon/Tue and every other Wed) - 1 position;
1B - 5:00 am to 5:30 pm (Thu/Fri/Sat and every other Wed) - 1 position;
2B - 5:00 pm to 5:30 am (Thu/Fri/Sat and every other Wed) - 1 position.
- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands; efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards; report damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as required.
- Process all quality control functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility; assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate equipment, including a pallet jack, in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Maintain equipment and report any problems.
- Work overtime as dictated by business (mandatory or voluntary).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months ranging from mild to moderate.
- None.

- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, or other related duties.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adaptability to change and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
- 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
Occasional lifting, fingering, and sitting; frequent bending; constant walking and standing.
- Lift/Carry and Push/Pull: 21‑50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Rare exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level usually low to moderate.
