Manufacturing Team Member - Exterior Tops Shingler

Position Summary

The Home Building Team Member performs manufacturing production operations assigned to each department in the home building process. The role follows standard production methods and safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving productivity objectives.
• Serve as a steward of the company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting needed maintenance, and keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist the Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize manufacturing activities, including communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and reporting any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.

• No disciplinary actions beyond a verbal warning in the last three months.
• Highest recent evaluation rating of High Performing.
• Experience using saws and drills preferred.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights and wearing a tool belt daily.
• Ability to read confirmation orders and consistently sign off travelers and zero energy. (Qualifies: High School diploma or GED preferred.)
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 pounds, as well as perform other required physical duties.
