Read and interpret blueprints from a variety of manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate execution of specifications;
Layout and fit all parts and components prior to tacking them together to be welded;
Employ solid wire (MIG/GMAW) or flux/metal core wire (FCAW) welding techniques on metals including mild steel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel;
Grind and polish welds after completion to ensure cleanliness and detail before inspection;
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, hoists, and sit-down forklifts to move parts from material storage or loading areas to the weld cell
