We are seeking a Production Scheduler responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure materials and manufacturing resources are available to meet customer demand. This role manages planning data within the ERP system, monitors inventory levels, and supports the overall efficiency of the production process.
Responsibilities- Manage production planning data, including inventory levels, safety stock, planning parameters, scrap, and yield factors.
Maintain accurate planning master data within the ERP/MRP system. Monitor and respond to MRP action and exception messages on a daily basis.
Create and manage material replenishment orders based on ERP recommendations. Review planned orders, firm planned orders, work orders, and scheduled receipts to maintain production flow.
Monitor inventory levels and identify slow‑moving or obsolete materials. Recommend corrective actions to improve inventory performance.
Release production orders in accordance with established "Clear to Build" protocols. Monitor order execution, including quantity, schedule adherence, and quality status.
Support the Master Production Schedule to ensure on‑time delivery and efficient production. Participate in planning data audits and continuous process improvements.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve scheduling and material shortages.
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and material requirements planning (MRP). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
PowerPoint experience preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements.
- 100% onsite position in Perry, Ohio.
Manufacturing environment requiring adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.
