Production Associate

Job Description

Responsible for finishing and packing bumpers.

• Loads bumpers onto paint line.
• Unloads bumpers from paint line to finishing table.
• Polishes, wraps, and prepares bumpers for shipping.
• Boxes and bands outgoing bumpers.
• Organizes all aspects of the assembly process.
• Performs inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Accurately reports daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conducts required quality checks.
• Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercises safe working habits while operating machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 years preferred.

• Ability to work overtime as production demands require.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must wear appropriate PPE.
