Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Packer to work on manufacturing conveyor lines. The primary duties include inspecting product, packing finished goods, ensuring adequate supplies, keeping stations clean, and following safety guidelines.
Responsibilities- Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment.
- Check for quality issues and contact team lead with issues.
- Ensure supplies at station (boxes, tape, etc.).
- Keep station clean at all times.
- Follow safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with others effectively as part of a team is essential.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate and keep up in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Demands- Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position.
- Requirements: reach over head, squat, bend at the waist; lift boxes of 0-50 lbs; climb stairs during a 12‑hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; tolerance of hot and cold temperatures.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves.
- Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the scheduled shift.
- Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles.
Starting rate $17.92 an hour – paid weekly.
Available ShiftsDay 8 AM – 8 PM and Night 8 PM – 8 AM rotating shifts 2‑2‑3.
