Hiring Forklift Operators
The Forklift Operator supports slitter machine operations by safely loading and unloading materials, handling products throughout the manufacturing process, and operating material handling equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient production flow and offers a clear path to advance into a slitter operator position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading material to slitter machines in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support slitter machine operation by preparing materials, monitoring production, and assisting the machine operator as needed.
- Perform general material handling duties, including staging, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and motorized pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods.
- Follow production instructions and work closely with machine operators and team members to maintain smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience, including operating sit-down forklifts.
- Material handling experience in a production or warehouse environment.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Florence, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.25/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
