Tool Maker

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T
• Progressive Die setup, testing, and qualifying runoff experience
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs, and molds.
• 2 years grinding experience.
• Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision.
• Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Finish surface grinding experience, /OD Grinder experience preferred
• Die assembly experience required
• Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
• Must have a positive attitude
