CNC Machinist / CNC Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Position SummaryWe are seeking skilled and reliable CNC Machinists/Operators to join a high-volume precision manufacturing operation. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates who have hands‑on CNC machining experience and are comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.
The role involves manufacturing high-quality, close-tolerance turned components used across automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial, and other precision manufacturing applications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and/or operate CNC machining equipment, including Swiss-type machines, and similar production equipment.
- Manufacture precision-machined components according to production specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production and part quality.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required dimensional and quality standards.
- Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and assist with general shop‑floor housekeeping.
- Work closely with supervisors, machinists, quality personnel, and other production team members to meet daily production goals.
- Identify and report equipment, tooling, or quality issues that could impact production.
- Previous experience working as a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, or in a similar precision machining position.
- Experience with Swiss‑type CNC machines, screw machines, or other high‑volume machining equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to understand basic machining instructions, measurements, and production requirements.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; knowledge of trigonometry is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a physically active, fast‑paced machine shop environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.
