We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry‑Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will support production operations by improving manufacturing processes, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Recent graduates with internships, co‑op experience, or relevant academic projects are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Creo.
- Basic knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing process improvement techniques.
- Exposure to CNC machining or sheet metal manufacturing.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
- Basic knowledge of automation or robotics is a plus.
- Support daily manufacturing operations and production activities.
- Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes.
- Analyze production issues and recommend process improvements.
- Help reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
- Assist with tooling, fixtures, and equipment improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Internship or co‑op experience in manufacturing.
- Exposure to automotive, aerospace, medical device, electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred but not required).
