Mold Maintenance Tech

ALPLA Inc. seeks a Mold Maintenance Tech to keep plastic packaging molds in top condition in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. You will inspect, clean, and repair injection and blow molds, troubleshoot production issues, and support changeovers to ensure quality and uptime. Working closely with production and engineering, you'll perform minor machining, polishing, and part replacement while documenting maintenance activities. Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain injection and blow molds to ensure reliable production
• Troubleshoot mold issues, including flash, wear, leaks, and alignment problems
• Perform minor machining, polishing, and part replacement on molds and tooling
• Support mold changeovers, setups, and startup verification with production teams
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and mold condition in CMMS or logs
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve mold performance and life
• Follow safety, quality, and 5
• S standards in the maintenance and production areas
• Assist in root cause analysis for mold-related defects and implement corrective actions
