Lean Continuous Improvement Leader

Job Description

Pro Fusion Industries, a highly regarded provider of transit step treads and transit flooring, custom specialty film products and protective linings is seeking a Lean Continuous Improvement Leader at its ISO 9000 certified Marietta, Ohio manufacturing facility. The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for establishing operational excellence by deploying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles throughout the organization. Drive transformational advancements in operational performance through process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, and leading projects that boost productivity, reduce waste, and build value.

• Identify targeted opportunities to support the company’s business objectives, including action plans, and monitoring to ensure expected results.
• Create a continuous improvement culture that facilitates best practices, process standardization, and lessons learned.
• Train and coach employees on Lean principles and tools, Six Sigma problem-solving techniques.
• Facilitate the mitigation of major cost of quality through defect identification, process improvements and monitoring towards the goal of becoming defect-free.
• Implement processes to improve business KPIs through analysis and visual management systems.
• Lead Kaizen and value stream mapping exercises to drive transformational improvements in operational performance.
• Ensure the adoption of new processes and methodologies, encouraging buy in and building a culture through a focus on change management.
• Track improvements and cost benefits for the sustainability.

• Ten (10) + years of operations experience, with at least five (5) years of experience leading change initiatives in a manufacturing environment; process and performance improvement, training, MOC and Lean.
• BS degree in Business or Engineering, and Black Belt certification.
• Broad understanding of business and manufacturing practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge and application of lean principles including kaizen, 5S, pull systems, kanban, SMED, TPM, value stream mapping and advanced problem-solving techniques.
