Position Overview
We are hiring a Tensile Tester for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Florence, KY. This is a trainable position and a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. The Tensile Tester is responsible for testing and evaluating materials in a designated laboratory area of the plant. This position works closely with operators and engineers to ensure materials meet required testing specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and conduct tests on materials according to established procedures.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory testing equipment and instruments.
- Accurately record test results on standardized forms.
- Carefully enter testing data and print material tags.
- Record performance data and identify deviations or variations from testing specifications.
- Evaluate failed or fractured samples from testing and field applications.
- Work closely with engineers on new, critical, and specialized testing projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Follow testing specifications, instructions, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Previous manufacturing, quality control, laboratory, or testing experience is a plus, but not required—training is provided.
