Expeditor, Manufacturing ​/ Production

As the Expeditor, you will be essential in maintaining the flow of parts within the department. You will organize and sort material based off each machines needs to go to the next process. These parts will be kitted and organized for the welding department. You will assist in loading and unloading trucks with a forklift. You will transport material from different areas of the shop to assist with material flow.

You will be responsible for checking what parts we send out to our vendors to ensure everything is there.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Organize and sort material to prepare it for the next process in welding
• Pull parts from inventory to fulfill jobs
• Load and Unload Trucks with forklift
• Check parts before they go to vendors
• Help fabrication with material flow

Education/Certification:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Skills:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Must be adaptable to changing requirements and situations
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team
• A high level of ethics and integrity is required
• Must show good initiative and manage your responsibilities independently
• Strong counting skills
• Basic computer skills
