Job Summary:
- Evaluates, plans, and provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitors patients’ status, interprets diagnostic data, administers medications, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Maintains sterile technique, follows established protocols, policies and procedures and educates patients and families as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Cath Lab experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Must have a Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky.
- Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire.
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees.
