Hospital DetailsGateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY, is a 40‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility that provides rehabilitative services to individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses. Our patients work to regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a small, specialized hospital, we offer a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you truly get to know your patients and their families.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. The RN provides direct patient care and delegates and supervises all nursing care in accordance with applicable Nurse Practice Act regulations. Specific responsibilities include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling the hospital’s responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise in the specialty area.
RequiredSkills
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where the job is located.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
- CRRN and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor preferred.
- Previous acute‑care experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
