Overview
Locum Tenens NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery in OH. Salary: $110 - $125/hr job .
Location:
Kettering, OH
Shifts:
Day shifts, with night call and weekend call coverage as needed. High acuity patient population. Open hearts — CABG, valves, complex aortic repairs. Thoracic cases — mostly robotic. ICU and stepdown management required. Maquet system used for vein harvesting.
- Provide nurse practitioner coverage for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patients in a high-acuity setting
- Support open heart procedures including CABG, valve surgeries, and complex aortic repairs
- Manage thoracic cases, primarily robotic-assisted
- ICU and stepdown patient management
- Utilize Maquet system for vein harvesting
- Coordinate care across day shifts, night call, and weekend call coverage
- EVH (early vein harvesting) and first-assisting skills required
- Experience in ICU and stepdown management
- Ability to work in a high acuity cardiovascular/cardiothoracic setting
- Familiarity with robotic thoracic procedures
