About This Role

The RN in the Pediatric ICU at Cleveland Clinic provides direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on exceptional care from initial introduction to discharge. • Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program) required.

• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Will consider military RN experience.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.
