Job Description & How to Apply Below

Deliver diagnostic excellence—performing advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT exams with precision, safety, and compassion while keeping patients at the center of every procedure.

At Simon Med Imaging, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT Technologists are essential to delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients and referring physicians depend on. From oncology PET/CT and amyloid imaging to cardiac studies and the latest dual-energy CT protocols, this role sits at the intersection of cutting‑edge technology and meaningful patient care—and it requires a technologist who takes both seriously.

We are looking for a tech who takes pride in precise, diagnostically complete studies, thrives in a fast‑paced but supportive environment, and brings genuine care to every patient interaction. If you find purpose in high‑caliber clinical work, value efficient workflows and advanced technology, and want to grow within a collaborative team that holds itself to a higher standard—this is where you belong.

What

You Bring

Precision and clinical expertise: You perform high‑quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols—every time, without fail. You administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately, record isotope dosages per established protocol, and produce diagnostic‑grade images across a full range of studies including oncology imaging, Axumin, NETSPOT, amyloid, and cardiac exams. Physicians and radiologists count on what you produce.

Mastery of standards and systems: You bring deep knowledge of nuclear medicine physics, radiopharmaceutical handling, cross‑sectional anatomy, and dual‑energy CT protocols including iterative reconstruction. You are proficient in PACS and RIS systems, apply ALARA radiation safety principles without being reminded, and maintain clean, complete, real‑time documentation. Radiation safety and regulatory compliance are second nature to you.

Agility and autonomy: You manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, calibrate and QC instrumentation, and adapt to a high‑volume outpatient schedule without needing constant direction. You evaluate image quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and prioritize what needs to happen next—on your own.

Patient empathy: Every patient receives your full attention—a clear explanation of the procedure, a thorough review of medical history and contraindications, and genuine care for their comfort and safety throughout what can be a lengthy and stressful exam. You observe patients during procedures and respond swiftly when something requires attention. Infection control standards are maintained every single time.

Mentorship and professionalism: When students or new staff rotate through, you step up. You model best practices, provide hands‑on guidance, and contribute to a department that raises its clinical standards because you are in it.

What You’ll Gain

Purpose‑driven work: At Simon Med, you are part of something bigger than any single scan. The #1 reason people stay is the sense of purpose that comes from delivering advanced outpatient imaging that directly impacts patient diagnoses and outcomes. In nuclear medicine, that purpose is amplified—your work helps detect cancer, evaluate cardiac function, and guide treatment decisions that change lives.

A collaborative team environment: Join a team where support, communication, and shared clinical standards are the norm—not the exception. Our collaborative culture is the #2 reason our technologists stay and thrive.

Flexibility and work‑life balance: No trauma bays, no overnight on‑call, no unpredictable ER surges at 2 AM. You get the predictability of an outpatient schedule—with holidays off and a shift that ends when it is supposed to.

Efficient workflows and advanced technology: We invest in the latest PET/CT systems and imaging software—including dual‑energy CT and iterative reconstruction technology—so you are working with equipment that matches your skill level. Our efficient workflows mean you can focus on clinical excellence—not administrative friction.

High clinical standards in advanced imaging: At our scale, the case mix is…
