Health And Safety Technician
- Level II
We are looking for a talented Health and Safety Technician
- Level II to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Promote a Culture of Safety By actively participating in safety programs and communicating effectively, you'll help foster a strong HSE culture that prioritizes well-being and accountability.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance Supporting the closure of compliance gaps and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local regulations ensures your organization meets all legal health and safety requirements.
- Respond to Hazards Proactively Your commitment to stopping work when major hazards are identified and reporting incidents promptly helps prevent injuries and reinforces a safety-first mindset.
- Support Emergency Preparedness Gaining a foundational understanding of emergency response processes enables you to assist in planning and reacting effectively during critical situations.
- Drive Continuous Improvement By gathering and analyzing safety data, participating in audits, and identifying trends, you contribute to ongoing improvements in workplace safety practices.
- Maintain High Standards of Confidentiality and Recordkeeping Ensuring proper documentation and data protection supports transparency, compliance, and trust within the organization.
- Champion Health and Wellness Initiatives Your involvement in wellness programs and safety campaigns helps create a healthier, more engaged workforce.
