How Will You Make an Impact?

As a senior quality leader at Jabil’s Florence, KY site, you will ensure that advanced server and rack manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance. Supporting high‑growth AI and cloud infrastructure programs, this role drives end‑to‑end quality across the product lifecycle—from New Product Introduction (NPI) through sustaining production. You will lead problem‑solving, establish robust quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

By partnering cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, you will influence decisions across the full value stream. This is a highly impactful individual contributor role focused on improving quality outcomes in a fast‑paced, high‑constraint environment.

Location

On‑site at our Florence, KY facility with limited travel (15–20%).

What Will You Do?
  • Lead end‑to‑end quality ownership across the product lifecycle from NPI through sustaining production.
  • Own customer requirement traceability, including BOM, specifications, and incoming quality criteria.
  • Maintain and improve ISO 9001:2015 QMS processes, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Drive NPI quality activities including CTQs, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA/GR&R, Cp/Cpk, and FAI.
  • Define and enforce incoming inspection criteria for assemblies, including pressure and leak testing standards.
  • Develop and implement leak‑prevention protocols and cooling system validation processes.
  • Audit and validate fluid‑handling, cooling, and contamination control processes for compliance and efficiency.
  • Establish SPC controls; monitor FPY, DPPM, and quality escapes; drive corrective actions.
  • Lead structured problem solving using 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality to define CTQs, support supplier qualifications, and material handling processes.
  • Automate quality data flow and develop dashboards using MES/ERP and BI tools.
  • Implement poka‑yoke solutions and containment strategies to improve yield and reduce defects.
  • Publish procedures and train production teams on quality standards and best practices.
  • Translate customer and regulatory requirements into internal documentation and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Test, Engineering, EHS) to drive performance improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
How Will You Get Here? Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering within cloud/data center hardware or similar industries. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Experience supporting NPI, high‑volume manufacturing, and sustaining operations.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP/FAI, MSA, SPC, and structured problem‑solving (8D, A3, DMAIC).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced analytical and data skills, including proficiency in Excel/Sheets and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Working knowledge of MES and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders using data‑driven insights.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and audit processes.
  • Experience with supplier quality, incoming inspection, and CTQ development.
  • Hands‑on approach with willingness to work on the production floor.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and training skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to work on the production floor and lift up to 25–30 lbs with PPE as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience with APQP/PPAP and supplier development.
  • Customer‑facing quality experience in high‑tech manufacturing environments.
