Position: Regional Quality Systems Manager- Intelligent Infrastructure

How will you make an impact?

The Regional Quality Systems Manager - Intelligent Infrastructure will lead and drive the integration and sustainability of Global Quality Systems for the US and Latin American Intelligent Infrastructure sites for ISO 9001:2015.

What will you do?
  • Lead the regional development, implementation, and long‑term sustainability of a robust and scalable Quality Management System (QMS) for start‑up Intelligent Infrastructure manufacturing sites, ensuring rapid certification readiness and alignment to ISO 9001:2015 and corporate Quality strategy.
  • Own QMS deployment for greenfield and early‑stage sites, establishing foundational quality system elements (e.g., Production Quality Basics, Core processes and governance, document control, risk management, audit readiness) while supporting aggressive capacity and capability ramp‑up.
  • Establish and lead a regional Quality Systems governance model for operations, ensuring consistency of quality practices across sites while allowing flexibility for differing equipment, layouts, and manufacturing maturity levels.
  • Define, deploy, and monitor Quality System KPIs appropriate for start‑up as well as sustaining environments, including system maturity, process adherence, corrective action effectiveness, audit performance, and readiness milestones.
  • Ensure disciplined deployment of standardized quality system development methodologies and structured problem‑solving tools, particularly for systemic issues emerging during early production, new equipment qualification, and process stabilization.
  • Drive the execution of Global Quality Systems initiatives across Intelligent Infrastructure start‑up sites, ensuring new operations are architected to global standards rather than retrofitted after launch.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor newly formed Site Quality Systems teams at start‑up locations, accelerating capability development, clarifying roles and ownership, and building sustainable local system stewardship.
  • Ensure start‑up site Quality Systems objectives fully aligned with regional and corporate Quality strategies, supporting certification, customer readiness, and long‑term operational scalability.
  • Build and sustain a regional network of Quality Systems professionals and subject‑matter experts with experience in Intelligent Infrastructure manufacturing, heavy assembly, structural integration, and early‑phase site launches.
  • Embed a continuous improvement mindset within start‑up operations, transitioning sites from launch mode to stable, data‑driven quality system maturity without disrupting production ramp.
  • Act as the primary regional escalation point for systemic Quality and compliance issues at start‑up sites, including gaps identified during Gemba walks, internal audits, certification audits, or early customer assessments.
How will you get here? Knowledge Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required, with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, influencing, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proven commitment to continuous personal development and professional growth.
  • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards.
  • Results‑driven change agent with the ability to lead transformation and drive sustainable outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and through multiple communication channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizationally astute, with a focus on outcomes rather than organizational politics.
  • Demonstrates humility and the ability to influence without authority to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong email communication skills.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Analytical discipline required. Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

  • Proven experience implementing startup Quality Management Systems.

  • Up to 25% travel required, US and Latin America.
