** Key Skills and Competencies**
* ** Technical Proficiency:**  + Competence in performing both basic and advanced mathematical calculations.  + Ability to operate and maintain quality control testing equipment.
* ** Attention to Detail:**  + Skill in conducting accurate tests and inspections of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) and aggregate properties.  + Proficiency in analyzing test results and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
* ** Communication

Skills:

**  + Effective communication with paving foremen, project managers, and quality control teams.  + Ability to report findings and recommendations clearly and accurately.
* ** Adaptability:**  + Comfort with varied work environments, including outdoor construction sites and indoor lab settings.  + Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
* ** Driving and Travel:**  + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to production plants and job sites across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
* ** Problem-Solving Abilities:**  + Capability to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and make informed decisions based on quality control data.
* ** Teamwork and Independence:**  + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team to achieve quality control objectives.

Skills:

**  + Strong understanding of Microsoft Office for creating and managing daily quality control reports.
** Qualifications*

Education:

No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Experience:

Previous experience in quality control or construction is a plus but not necessary.

Clean valid driver’s license.
