Job Title:
Laboratory Technician
Job Location:
Cleveland, OH 44111
Job Duration: 12+ Months (Contract to hire)
Pay rate: $19/Hr
Shift:
1st shift (Weekend: Saturday-Tuesday, 4/10 schedule)
2nd shift (Thursday-Sunday, 5:00pm-3:30am, 4/10 schedule)
- Perform analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials and finished product samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Conduct in‑coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
- Records test results on batch tickets and in the company's computer operating system.
- Organize and maintain quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests.
- Set up, adjust, verify, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain housekeeping of the working place.
- Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy.
- Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
- Perform 5S audits or other audits according to a plan.
- Support all Quality Control related One
*** initiatives.
- Minimum of a two-year technical degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related experience and/or training.
- Two (2) years analytical laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
