  • Analyze, interpret, and apply technical documentation, including schematics, engineering change (EC) notices, visual aids, debug tools, and established test procedures.
  • Partner closely with Test Engineering to support data‑driven initiatives aimed at improving diagnostic efficiency, fault isolation accuracy, and overall production yield.
  • Evaluate failure trends through detailed data analysis and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve departmental production targets, quality objectives, and key operational performance metrics.
  • Provide structured, one‑on‑one coaching, mentorship, and guidance to technicians, loaders, testers, and new hires to strengthen technical competency and ensure consistent execution.
  • Deliver ongoing, hands‑on training on failure modes, process enhancements, and testing updates to maintain workforce alignment with current standards and operational requirements.
  • Monitor shift‑level diagnostic performance and accuracy, proactively identifying skill gaps and implementing targeted retraining and development plans.
  • Support Test Engineering through the management of ticketing and escalation systems, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and assessments for technicians, tracking diagnostic accuracy, consistency, and overall effectiveness.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Design of Experiments (DOE), including supporting data collection and analysis activities to drive process optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training documentation, including work instructions, process guidelines, and training materials to support continuous workforce development.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and security requirements at all times.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment within a diagnostic or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience working with Windows and/or Linux‑based operating systems and enterprise‑level software applications (e.g., Jabil systems or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and accurately apply technical documentation and visual instructions in a production environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to individuals and groups at various organizational levels.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and update clear, concise training materials, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to consistently follow standardized processes and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical concepts and the ability to interpret data, ratios, performance metrics, and graphical trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance technical diagnostic responsibilities with training, coaching, and performance management duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a diagnostics, electronics manufacturing, or high‑volume production environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic circuit board diagnostics within a complex manufacturing setting.
  • Previous experience providing training, coaching, or mentoring to cross‑functional production teams, including technicians, loaders, and testers.
  • Familiarity with key production performance indicators (KPIs), yield improvement strategies, and process optimization methodologies.
