As a Quality Lab Technician in Florence, your job is to protect the process. You’ll check, measure, and approve the work that keeps production moving forward.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a related field preferred
- Relevant laboratory or quality control experience may be considered instead of a degree
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards is a plus
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance laboratory within a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience operating analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, and UV/ VIS
- Experience/knowledge with using lab instrument
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Production, Regulatory, and R&D teams
- Willingness to travel for training as needed
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Frequent bending, stretching, and movement throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all laboratory safety procedures
- Comfortable working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments
Job Duties
- Perform chemical testing of raw materials, production batches, line samples, and finished products
- Analyze and document test results while ensuring products meet quality specifications
- Calculate and recommend batch adjustments to support manufacturing requirements
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and quality documentation
- Support GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 compliance activities and audits
- Conduct ATP testing and product release activities
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions
- Participate in continuous improvement programs, including Kaizen, TPM, and 5 Why investigations
- Train employees on laboratory procedures, equipment use, and quality standards
