The College of Public Health, Department of Biostatistics seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Develop novel methods and tools for analyzing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), kinome, RNA-seq, and/or high-throughput array data under the guidance of the sponsoring professor.
- Manage data generated in the Diabetes Solution COBRE projects, perform routine statistical analyses and study design, including power calculations, sample size determinations, and statistical analysis plans.
- Apply machine learning approaches to integrate diverse datasets collected from study participants to identify subtle differences that may not be detectable using standard analytical methods.

Strong statistical analytic skills using R, Python or SAS; systematic knowledge in statistical methods and theories; good skill and strong ability in communicating with collaborating scientists.
