We are looking for full‑time Assistant Store Managers who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard‑working. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for providing exemplary selling and customer service that is designed to improve the productivity and profitability of the store.
Responsibilities- Open and/or close the store at the start or end of the day.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions by working proactively with customers.
- Lead daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
- Maintain inventory, conduct product sets, stock products, perform housekeeping and assist with stockroom duties.
- Report directly to the Store Manager and work closely with the corporate store team.
- Create and maintain a warm, inviting shopping environment.
- Showcase products, promotions, services, and brand rewards programs tailored to shopper needs.
- Deliver an exceptional consumer shopping experience that leaves guests inspired and eager to return.
- Assist in meeting sales goals and ensuring each customer leaves satisfied.
- Uphold all company policies and practices.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of prior retail experience, sales, or customer service.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to open and close the store a minimum of three times per week and work two weekend shifts per month.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in specialty retail, sales, or customer service.
- Strong customer‑focused engagement and consultative selling skills.
- Effective communication with customers and employees.
- Ability to receive feedback and take action.
- Proficiency using a computer and other technology.
- Desire and ability to learn the business.
- Accountability for store cash and product assets.
- Assist in training new employees and understand new policies and operational changes.
- Stand, walk, push/pull, lift/carry up to 10 pounds, fine finger movements.
- Frequently bend at waist, climb/at heights, kneel and squat, lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- Occasionally balance on uneven surfaces, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, drive or travel.
- Rarely/infrequently lift/carry up to 75 pounds or sit during job performance.
- Communicate with customers, coworkers, and vendors by phone or in person.
- Exposure to dust, cleaning agents, truck exhaust, lighting, noise, smells, outdoor work, and heights.
This is a regular, full‑time, hourly position that is deemed “non‑exempt” by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and will typically work 40 hours per week.
