• Provide prompt, excellent customer service; greet customers, offer recommendations, and thank them when they leave.
• Ring up all sales accurately on the cash register; handle money, checks, and other forms of payment.
• Operate fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, and other multi‑function equipment.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness, performing general housekeeping duties inside and outside the facility.
• Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety and cleanliness; notify the Store Manager of any failures or supply needs.
• Complete build‑to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise, receive and verify vendor deliveries, and maintain adequate stock levels and proper rotation.
• Place advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the facility, including marquees, ceilings, walls, and windows.
• Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and conduct shift audits.
• Keep accurate cash, sales, and inventory control records and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager.
• Report incidents such as employee or customer injuries, theft, property damage, or improper sanitation to the Store Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of all shift and time‑keeping paperwork and meet attendance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment, including cash registers or scanners, beverage dispensers, and other tools.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, arrive on time, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

• Exposure to cold or warm temperature extremes and occasional work in a walk‑in cooler and/or freezer or outdoors.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands for the entire shift; push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
• Reach overhead for objects; bend and twist at waist.
• Communicate orally, operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard.
• Stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull; stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Work alone; exposed to occasional noise; may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs.

• Approximately 95% of work is indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks such as cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and taking out garbage.
• Exposure to extreme cold temperatures during occasional work in a walk‑in cooler and/or freezer.
• Exposure to occasional noise.
• Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
