Regional Technical Sales Account Manager – CAS NAM
In this high‑impact Regional Sales Account Manager role, you will drive the North America sales strategy for Momentive’s Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants Business – building strategic customer relationships, optimizing distribution networks, and partnering cross‑functionally to deliver differentiated technical solutions in the coatings, adhesives, and sealants market.

Responsibilities- Develop appropriate sales strategies and tactics to win in the targeted markets.
- Drive growth at or above AOP target levels and be accountable for all assigned accounts.
- Ensure execution of strategies and remove roadblocks that may prevent adoption.
- Work closely with Segment Leader, Marketing, and the CAS technology team at Pearl River for coating formulations.
- Provide technical sales support to help customers understand how the product line works and achieve best results.
- Arrange and understand field testing needed for new and existing products.
- Effectively collect market intelligence and feed it back into the marketing team.
- Develop and roll out key metrics, dashboards, and relevant data to fully utilize the CRM platform, ensuring visit reports, contacts, and other key data are recorded.
- Travel, arrange meetings, handle and grow business at assigned distribution and direct customers for Process Industries.
- Pro‑actively solve business problems that prevent us from achieving sales targets.
- Ensure the Sales team complies with laws and regulations applicable to the region/country and with Momentive’s internal policy.
- Manage cost of travel, entertainment and other sales‑related expenses within Delegation of Authorities (DoA) and annual budget.
- Collaborate with Regional and Global Segment Leaders, Global Product Manager, and Global Technology Leader to align plans and strategies.
- Report directly to the NAM Regional Segment Leader – CAS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related area.
- 5+ years of professional experience in coatings formulations or additives industry.
- 2+ years of technical sales or techno‑commercial experience in coatings, adhesives, sealants, or related markets.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within North America.
- Working knowledge of CAS market trends, customers, and technologies.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership to foster teamwork and drive change.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that generate positive results.
- Self‑directed and independent working style.
- Ability to identify and resolve difficult problems.
- Energetic, self‑motivated and strong team player.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, and CRM tools ().
- MBA
- Base pay range: $113,500 – $166,650 (actual salary based on experience, education, and geography).
- Incentive or sales variable compensation based on company performance and individual job performance.
