Position OverviewIn this position as Key Account Manager, you will be the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of key customers within the US aviation and airport infrastructure market. Based in Logan Township, NJ, you will build long-term, trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders at customer organizations and act as the central point of contact throughout the full customer lifecycle.
You will develop a deep understanding of each customer’s organization, priorities, decision-making processes, installed base, and future needs. By turning this insight into structured account plans, stakeholder maps, and opportunity strategies, you will drive sustainable growth across new sales, replacement projects, service agreements, and aftermarket solutions.
The role is relationship driven and highly collaborative. While technical, project, service, and product expertise is provided by cross‑functional teams, you are responsible for orchestrating the right internal support, ensuring clear communication, and maintaining a seamless and professional customer experience. Success in the role is measured through customer satisfaction, trusted customer relationships, forecast quality, retention, and contribution to order intake and long‑term account growth.
As part of the team, you will:
- Own and develop long‑term relationships with selected key customers, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Develop deep customer insight and turn it into structured account plans, stakeholder maps, and opportunity strategies.
- Drive growth across new sales, replacement projects, service agreements, and aftermarket solutions.
- Work closely with the entire Customer Experience team and other departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless approach to customer management.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, pipeline, and forecast quality through disciplined CRM usage and structured follow‑through.
You are a relationship-driven professional who builds trust and long-term partnerships with customers through accountability and results. With a strong customer focus and structured way of working, you combine commercial drive with consistent follow‑through, turning customer insight into sustainable business value while collaborating effectively across internal teams.
We are looking for you who have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or another relevant commercial or technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in successfully delivered key account management, strategic account sales, customer success, infrastructure, or complex B2B environments with long sales cycles.
- Strong capability in building long-term customer relationships, stakeholder management, and turning customer insight into structured account plans.
- Experience in strategic account planning and stakeholder management, with a consultative sales approach, strong CRM discipline and forecasting capability.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and customer organizations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel domestically when needed, around 50‑70% of the time.
It is considered a plus if you have:
- Experience with in aviation, airport infrastructure, industrial technology, or other complex project‑based or service‑oriented industries.
- Familiarity with US airport customers, FAA funding and procurement environments, airfield construction, EMAS/airfield safety, or long‑term service and aftermarket agreements.
- Formal training in key account management, CRM, negotiation, customer‑success methodology.
- Additional language skills relevant to US airport customers and partners, such as Spanish.
