Job Description

Retail Sales and Marketing Management

(Full Time/Paid Training)

Horizon Specialized Marketing is excited to reveal an immediate full-time opening for a Retail Sales and Marketing Management Trainee within the Marketing and Sales industry in the greater Lima/Findlay, OH area.

Our Management Trainee works closely with the manager and team members to learn all aspects of running special marketing and promotional retail sales events and campaigns. As a member of our Retail Sales and Marketing Management Team you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, achieving sales volume, adhering to our client portfolios and visual presentation standards, and maximizing profits.

The manager and experienced representatives will provide guidance, direction and development to the new team members in order to achieve all revenue, profit and customer service goals.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
  • Achieve high levels of marketing and sales performance and results.
  • Participate in team meetings and execution of daily tasks to maximize sales.
  • Oversee compliance of all staff with established company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build lasting customer relationships and maintain client loyalty.
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer's individualized need, and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Drive results by contributing to store operations; both in office and in the field.
  • Support both self and the team by meeting key performance indicators.
  • Takes pride in personal contribution and knows how personal performance impacts both individual and team efforts.
  • Utilize both marketing and sales techniques, such as actively listening and asking open-ended questions to create a unique shopping experience that both helps educate the customer and gives them the right information.
  • Work in various retail locations, marketing or promoting, and selling new products and services to customers.
  • Be efficient and proactive, and possess the ability to learn all products and services offered by our client base, regarding home entertainment and other related fields (technology and electronics, telecommunications, home security, etc.).
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Currently enrolled college student or graduate (having earned a degree in related fields).
  • Experience in marketing and sales, retail, customer service, advertising, business management, or other related fields is an asset.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including both verbal and written.
  • Sports-minded; winning mentality and competitive spirit.
  • Responsible for individual actions and participates in team related activities.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Comfortable managing different product lines within the home entertainment field; flexible and adaptable.
  • Proactive; displays a willingness to learn and is self-developing.
