Territory Manager – Cordis
Reporting to region leadership, the Territory Manager is responsible for driving new business and increasing growth in existing accounts within a specified territory.
Responsibilities- Drive new business and increase penetration in existing accounts.
- Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge and understanding of clinical data, competitive products, and industry trends.
- Cold call, prospect, and build relationships to increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Apply working knowledge of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks.
- Identify solutions to technical problems and take action to resolve them.
- Exercise judgment within defined parameters; work is reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.
- Receive general guidance; may receive more detailed instruction on new projects.
- Conduct consultative sales calls with interventional cardiologists, radiologists, neuro interventionalists, and vascular surgeons; support their needs in the lab.
- Partner effectively with Cordis leadership, cross‑functional teams, and field‑based counterparts.
- Provide customer feedback, competitive intelligence, environmental shifts, and industry learnings through appropriate channels to aid Sales/Marketing and other leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related work experience.
- 5+ years of sales experience (preferred).
- 2+ years of selling medical supplies and devices with medium-length sales cycles.
- Familiarity with PC applications, MS Office, and virtual meeting software.
- Ability to travel; must live within the territory and be willing to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- US work authorization; non‑sponsorship required.
