Rose Farm Supply needs to add experienced Parts Sales Experts to our team! As a Parts Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of enhancing the lives of the hard‑working people we serve by providing access to a complete line of leading support services.
We are always looking to continually raise the standard in customer partnerships, so as a Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers in the determination of parts requirements, selling parts and providing order processing services. This job role is made up of the following areas:
- Customer Parts Sales
- Customer Part Ordering Processing
- In‑Store Sales and Merchandising
- Job Position Control
Also, you will be expected to uphold the following:
- Operate within all parts policies and procedures of the company
- Maintain high personal morale
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Attain short and long‑term objectives
- Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines
- Knowledgeable on the parts systems for all manufacturers represented by the dealership
- Knowledgeable on all features and benefits of all parts commodities sold
- Knowledgeable about selling and on successful selling techniques
- Able to deal with customer objections in a professional manner
- Knowledgeable of the competitive environment in which the dealer operates
- Assure that all objectives are achievable and quantitatively measurable
- Knowledgeable on all computer systems used within the parts department
- Knowledgeable on all parts libraries available and their uses and processes
- Able to find and maintain all customer records
- Able to determine pricing for all parts according to company policies
- Able to locate all parts required to satisfy customer needs
- Knowledgeable in all selling techniques on teleselling
- Able to perform sales using the telephone in a professional manner
- Familiarity with the telephone in selling and transmitting a positive manner on the phone
- Disciplined in phone follow‑up to determine customer satisfaction on orders placed and processed by the parts department
- Maintain a clean and friendly looking in‑store display and merchandise sales area
- Able to present merchandise to customers with professional setting techniques
- Possess strong knowledge on features and benefits of all merchandise
- Operate as a facilitator for customers in finding what they are looking for
- Monitor customer traffic patterns through parts sales islands in the store to maximize the effectiveness of the in‑store layout
- Continually monitor customer activities to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain information current on machine products, parts products, and systems
- Conduct daily tracking of outstanding customer parts orders and shipments
- Operate all products and models of equipment represented by the dealership
- Have good understanding of all machine systems
- Use all company parts computer systems
- Use all parts reference materials
- Measure wear patterns in undercarriage
- Assist with problem determinations to diagnose additional problems
- Instruct at parts product training meetings
- Complete all paperwork required for jobs
- Maintain a clean workplace
- Maintain and care for all tools/equipment
- Work safely and use safe techniques
- Maintain a professional and courteous business manner
- Perform as directed by the parts management
The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, ethical, intelligent and have a sales aptitude. This individual needs to be able to adapt to all of the forces around them – customers, suppliers, department employees, co‑workers and manufacturers employees.
Education/Training/ExperienceA bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in sales in a retail environment.
