AgCall Inc. has an exciting opportunity for agricultural professionals in select geographies in the U.S. to complete field trial data gathering activities during the growing season. Various contracts are available during the growing season in various sectors of agriculture: biologicals, fertilizers, various crops. Associates will work growers in their assigned region to conduct data collection visits at certain times throughout the growing season.
All trials will have specific requirements based on trial protocol.
- South Dakota - corn, beans
- Missouri - corn, beans, peanuts
- Establish and manage plots within approximately a 150-mile radius, as determined and assigned by the client, with the objectives of capturing various agronomic measurements, evaluations and photos
- Daytime travel to conduct on-farm visits during the growing season as required by protocol
- Maintain contact with growers to schedule field visits
- Ability to collect precision data, field assessments, field measurements and evaluations
- Agronomic experience in crop specific to trial including assessment of crop conditions
- Perform agronomic activities such as soil samples, tissue samples and other field assessments as required by protocol
- Provide feedback and photographic evidence of any compromised
- Maintain and submit detailed observations and data from each site visit and report online within 24 hours of site visit as per AgCall instructions
- Complete required paperwork correctly and send administrative paperwork to AgCall within predetermined timelines
- Report to the AgCall project manager on a weekly basis
- Strong production ag and agronomy background
- Understanding of plot design and protocol management
- Ability to collect precision data from a variety of platforms
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ready access to a computer, email, and smartphone
- May be active or retired growers, retailers, crop/seed salesmen, agronomists or other ag professionals. Must be comfortable meeting with farmers and growers
- Valid driver’s license
Successful Associates must attend the technical and safety training. An additional in-field training session with a client representative may be required upon your first field visit. Attendance is required. Associates will report directly to AgCall and will also receive training on the data collection and submission procedures that are required for payment. We provide a very competitive wage with bonus structure for all projects.
Associates earn an hourly base rate, bonuses and mileage and expense reimbursement.
