As a Security Officer Visitor Verification in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Wednesday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security‑related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, deliveries, and/or vehicles, help to deter unauthorized access, and document routine activity, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas, noting access issues, damaged barriers, and other security‑related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and following post orders for restricted areas, after‑hours access, and/or key control.

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
