** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document deliveries, pickups, and other site activity in support of security-related operations.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.

+ Prepare accurate logs and reports related to access control events, incident activity, and policy violations while following post orders and client-directed procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
