Security Officer – Third Shift

Full‑Time Security Officer

The Security Officer will work in the downtown Cincinnati office on third shift (2300‑0730). The role requires regular patrols, operating security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring facility access and safety.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure building security.
• Operate and monitor security control panels, alarms, and surveillance systems to identify and respond to potential security breaches.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
• Manage access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• May provide ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.
• May provide executive transportation/security escorts and participate in Executive Protection details.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees and visitors.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with security practices and technologies.
• May obtain a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty.
• Serve as a first responder and maintain Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Shift: Third Shift (2300‑0730)
• Off Days are TBD
• Base Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Shift Differential for Third Shift: 8.1%

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Generally 0 to 4 years of related experience.
• Maintain certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
• Comfortable driving full‑sized SUVs with passengers.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License.
• Complete annual firearms qualification.
• Have a personal cellular phone with an active plan.
• Subject to pre‑employment drug screening and potential quarterly random drug screening.
• Physically able to sit for 8 hours on post if working in the Operations Center.
• Physically able to walk upwards of 11 miles during an 8‑hour shift if working as the Roving Patrol Officer.
• Physically able to perform 2 straight minutes of CPR on the ground.
