Electrician

SUMMARY

• Inspects, repairs, troubleshoots, installs and maintains the facility electrical systems, motors, lighting systems, process alarms and interlock systems

• Inspects, repairs, troubleshoots, installs and maintains plant electrical systems, motors, lighting systems, process alarms and interlock systems in accordance with accepted procedures and specifications.
• Utilizes detail electrical drawings and electrical test equipment.
• Operates lifting equipment.
• Attends annual training such as RCRA, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, fire extinguishers, use of SCBA's and other as required from time to time.
• Attends periodically scheduled safety meetings.
• Cleans up work area following completion of assigned task and properly disposes waste materials. Returns tools and equipment to normal storage areas.
• Completes other routine or assigned duties as necessary to meet the maintenance department work schedule to minimize equipment downtime.

• Minimum four years industrial electrical experience.
