Repair Technician

Storm Guard Roofing of Madison is seeking a skilled and dependable Repair Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, helping customers, and building a long-term career in the construction industry.

You’ll play a critical role in completing repairs, service work, warranty claims, and small installations while helping homeowners protect and maintain their properties. Every day brings something different, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and continuous learning.

Compensation: $25-$35/hour + performance bonuses and upsell opportunities (based on experience and performance)

Your day as a Repair Technician begins by reviewing service calls, repair requests, and warranty‑related work scheduled for the day. You’ll travel to customer properties, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and communicate directly with homeowners about the work being completed. Whether you’re repairing roofing components, replacing siding, troubleshooting exterior issues, or handling warranty concerns, you’ll serve as a trusted representative of the Storm Guard brand.

No two days are exactly alike. You may be repairing roof leaks, replacing damaged shingles, fixing siding issues, addressing storm‑related damage, repairing gutters, replacing exterior components, or completing warranty and service work that helps homeowners protect their investment. You’ll identify the root cause of problems, recommend appropriate solutions, prepare estimates when needed, and ensure every repair is completed with the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that Storm Guard is known for.

We ask that you meet the following requirements:

• Experience in construction, remodeling, maintenance, home repair, or a related field
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Familiarity with basic construction tools, materials, and repair techniques

Preferred qualifications (don’t be discouraged if you don’t meet these preferences—we will train the right person!):

• Experience working with roofing, siding, windows, doors, or exterior building systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working directly with homeowners or customers
