These are the qualifications that matter.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of field service, commissioning, or industrial maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, and automation technologies
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel up to 80% across North America
• Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physical tasks
• Safety certifications (OSHA, NFPA) are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site installation and commissioning of industrial equipment
• Coordinate field activities and direct mechanical and electrical teams
• Perform system testing, calibration, and startup troubleshooting
• Provide ongoing maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repair support
• Train customers on equipment operation, safety, and maintenance
• Document service work and generate detailed reports
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during projects
